Jon Cuyson is an internationally celebrated visual artist, filmmaker, and academic. He began exhibiting his paintings in Manila in 1998, launching a prolific two-decade career that dynamically bridges the contemporary art ecosystems of Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. In 2010, he founded Everyday Productions, a conceptual platform that operates as a creative laboratory and methodology for his experimental projects across fine art, cinema, and design.
Cuyson’s highly reflective approach has earned him immense global institutional acclaim, culminating in his selection to officially represent the country at the 61st International Art Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia (2026) with his pavilion presentation, Sea of Love / Dagat ng Pag-ibig. He currently lives and works in Manila, where he continues to teach and expand his studio practice.
