Valdizno, Trek

Born in the province of Bulacan, Trek Valdizno established an early, dynamic studio presence within the contemporary Philippine art landscape. He formalized his foundations at the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman College of Fine Arts, graduating with a degree in Painting. He stood out for his willingness to break away from traditional academic rules, winning the prestigious Juror's Choice Award from Philip Morris International at the Philippine Art Awards in 1994.

Valdizno’s career spans over three decades of intense studio production and cultural education, having served as a prominent art instructor at the International School of Manila and the Ayala Museum. His mastery over grand, expressive scale has made him a highly sought-after name for major architectural commissions across Southeast Asia. His monumental canvases permanently line the walls of elite spaces, including Solaire Resort, City of Dreams, Winford Hotel, and Kai Tak International Airport in Hong Kong.
