Based in Manila, JB Gamboa is an accomplished cross-disciplinary creative, independent educator, and cultural manager. He initially began his career navigating humanity-centered studies before dedicating his life to design and visual production. Combining an extensive self-taught background in illustration with formal, elite European training in design institutions, Gamboa has successfully operated a prolific freelance studio practice that ranges from corporate branding, 3D prototyping, and murals to curated gallery showcases.
Gamboa’s diverse international background has allowed him to live, work, and exhibit across Europe and Southeast Asia. His global perspective heavily shapes his approach to visual art as a universal, boundary-less tool for social and cultural connection.
