Biography

Born in New York in 1953, Emily Cheng is a Chinese-American visual artist with ancestral roots in the Philippines. Moving dynamically across the global art landscape, her practice bridges the cultural spaces of New York, Manila, Hong Kong, and mainland China. Cheng has built an extensive, internationally celebrated career spanning over four decades.
