Born in 1950 in Pabrika, Negros Occidental, Nunelucio Alvarado is a multi-awarded Filipino visual artist and a pivotal force in the Visayan art scene. Throughout his prolific career, he has received numerous accolades, most notably the prestigious 13 Artists Award from the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). Today, with the support of his family and the art community, he continues to expand his advocacy for grassroots art education in Sagay City.
