Erik Sausa is a contemporary artist known for his innovative and experimental approach to art. Based in Angono, he has a background in Studio Arts from the University of the Philippines Diliman. Sausa's work often explores the intersection of nostalgia and contemporary themes, blending traditional and modern techniques. His works are appreciated for their depth and the way they challenge viewers to find new interpretations and meanings. Sausa has participated in numerous group exhibitions and had nine solo shows in prominent galleries across Metro Manila and abroad. He was on the shortlist for the ACC Fellowship Grant in 2015 and 2016, a top 4 in Alliance Francaise de Manille, PARP 2015. He's also on the regional selections of Luzon for the Philippine Art Awards in 2022.
