Guen considers herself as a traveler of the psyche, focused on the poetry and science of interconnections. Her discipline revolves around myriad forms of visual arts and music. Guen was a regional curator of Region 6 for VIVA ExCon 2020- Kalibutan: The World in Mind. Her solo exhibitions include “Take Cover” (2018) and “The Will of Becoming” (2015) in Rebels for Life Galerie, Seon, Switzerland, “Fragile” (2014), HOM Art Trans, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, “intersections” (2013) in NOVA Gallery, Makati City, “Suspend The World” (2012) in Alliance Francaise de Manille, Embassy of France, Philippines. Guen was a Fine Arts educator at La Consolacion College, Bacolod from 2022 to 2025. Currently, she is a full-time artist and a cultural worker engaged in community work within and around Negros Occidental.
